Bowmer Holmes are regularly commissioned to produce music for contemporary dance companies and perform their music live on stage with the dancers. An example of this is Static, a dance performance of six movements inspired by the sculptural work of Antony Gormley. This featured acoustic guitar in ‘crafty’ tuning (similar to cello) and Kalimba finger piano (Dave Bowmer) and tuned percussion (David Holmes).
